After lunch at Oliver’s Restaurant, we motor and board the Fort Fischer Ferry.  Next, we’ll visit the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher where one can feel the smooth skin of a gliding stingray, spot eels and sharks swimming in the depths, look an albino alligator in the eye and wonder at baby sea turtles. After our visit we motor up the coast while passing Kure, Carolina, and Wrightsville beaches, then returning to Wilmington. The rest of the afternoon you are free to visit the USS North Carolina Battleship, take a cruise on the river with CFR Boat Cruises, or take a walk on the Riverwalk where shopping awaits!  We’ll dine as a group at the Marina Grill on the waterfront and finish the day with a short walk back to our hotel.

On Sunday, our day starts with the hotel’s made-to-order breakfast. We’ll gather for a brief MBCA Carolinas Section Annual Meeting in the morning.
