On Friday, February 3rd, Central Oklahoma Section lost one of its most popular and active Members.  Richard Kirk passed away suddenly, saddening many of those who knew him and enjoyed good times with him over many years.   Richard was a Member of the Board of Directors of Central Oklahoma Section and served as President, Vice President and Secretary.  He and his wife Peggy enjoyed traveling with the Club and enthusiastically joined fellow Members touring, attending National Events and participating in Track Driving (including at the Indianapolis 500 track).  He always volunteered to lead and help and he played a key role in reestablishing the Eastern Oklahoma Section seven years ago.   Memorial services were held on Thursday, February 9th, with “standing room only.”  His large family and his many friends from India Shrine and M.B.C.A. were in attendance.  A U.S.A.F. Honor Guard closed the service by presenting Peggy with a U.S. flag.   Richard was a personal friend and I will very much miss him.  Hopefully, Peggy will continue her close association with her many friends throughout M.B.C.A.   Ed Hoag
